1. What DanceRecap Does

DanceRecap helps event organizers, photographers, and attendees manage and share photos and videos from dance events. We use face recognition to suggest tags and help users find themselves in event media. The platform includes features for photo/video processing and cloud storage integration.

2. Who Can Use DanceRecap

• •You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• •You agree to provide accurate information and keep your login details secure.
• •We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the platform.

3. User Content

• •You retain ownership of photos, videos, and other media you upload.
• •By uploading, you grant DanceRecap a limited license to host, process, and display that content for event and tagging purposes.
• •You confirm you have the right to upload that media and that it doesn't violate anyone else's rights.

4. Facial Recognition & Video Processing

• •DanceRecap uses face recognition to analyze images and videos for facial matches.
• •Uploading a selfie helps improve match accuracy for you only. Selfies are not watermarked.
• •You can delete your selfie or account at any time, which removes your face data from our system.
• •Video processing includes face detection, thumbnail generation, and derivative creation.
• •Your feedback on photo matches helps improve accuracy.

5. Payments

• •You can purchase event photos and videos.
• •All payments are processed securely via Stripe.
• •Prices are shown before checkout.
• •Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

6. Cloud Storage Integration

• •You may connect your Google Drive account to sync photos automatically.
• •OAuth tokens are stored encrypted and refreshed automatically.
• •You can disconnect cloud storage integration at any time.

7. Storage & Retention

• •Event photos and videos are stored for a reasonable period consistent with industry standards. We reserve the right to delete content after this period has elapsed.
• •Selfies remain until you delete them yourself.
• •We may retain minimal system logs for security or auditing purposes, consistent with standard retention practices.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• •Upload harmful, offensive, or illegal content.
• •Attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer our services.
• •Use the platform to identify people without consent.

We reserve the right to remove content or restrict access if these rules are broken.

9. Disclaimers

• •DanceRecap is provided "as is."
• •We don't guarantee uninterrupted access or perfect accuracy of face matches.
• •We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you via the app or email.
