Find my photos
One selfie. Every photo you are in.
You danced all weekend and the photos are somewhere in a folder with four thousand others. Upload one selfie and we will pull out the ones with you in them.
You need to be part of the event first. Scan the QR code at the event or use the invite link your organizer sent you. Without that, there are no photos to match you against yet.
What happens
Four steps, and two of them are ours
- Step 1
Join your event
Scan the QR code at the event, or open the invite link your organizer sent you. That is what connects you to their photos.
- Step 2
Take one selfie
Front-facing, decent light, just you in frame. The whole thing takes about ten seconds on a phone.
- Step 3
We look for you
Your selfie is compared against the photos and videos the event's media team uploaded, and nothing else at all.
- Step 4
Your gallery fills
A private gallery of the shots you are in. Confirm the ones that are you, then keep them. Free or paid is your organizer's call.
Your selfie
What we do with it, in plain words
Face matching deserves a straight answer rather than a paragraph of legal text, so here is the whole of it.
Used only to find you
It is matched against the media from events you have joined. It is not used to train anything, and it is not shared with other attendees.
No face database
They are searched once, when we look for you, and that is all. Only your own selfie is stored as the reference we match against.
You decide what is you
Every match starts as pending until you confirm it. Reject anything that is not you and it leaves your gallery.
You can remove it
Delete it from your account settings whenever you like, and it stops being used for matching.
The full detail is in our privacy policy and terms. Questions before you upload anything are welcome at support@dancerecap.com.
Ready when you are
If your event is already on DanceRecap, your gallery is waiting behind one selfie.
