Pricing
One fee per event, agreed before it runs
The size of your event and whether you are shooting video put you in a band. You know what that costs before your first photographer links a folder.
How we charge
A flat fee, once, per event
Settled between you and us, and independent of anything your dancers do or do not buy.
One fee for the event
Your band sets the number and you know it before the event runs. Not a subscription, and not a slice of your ticket revenue.
Sell or give away
Charge your dancers for their photos or hand them over for nothing. Our fee does not move either way.
It does not grow
No per-photo surcharge, and no bill at the end of the weekend that is larger than the one you agreed at the start.
What sets the number
Two things put you in a band
We price in bands rather than per event, so you can place yourself before you talk to us. We confirm which one on the call.
The size of the event
How many days you run and how many dancers come through the door. A Tuesday social and a five-day congress are not in the same band.
Whether you shoot video
Finding a face across a clip is heavier work than finding one in a still, so an event with a video team is priced above the same event without one.
What we do not touch
Your event stays yours
Using DanceRecap does not change what you charge or what you already agreed with your crew.
What your dancers pay
Free or paid is your call, and if you charge, the prices are yours to set. Photos and videos price apart, since a clip is not the same work as a still.
What your crew earns
The fee you agreed when you booked them is between you and them. On a paid event you can also give them a cut of their own sales, paid straight to their account.
Locked once you start
We lock payment and watermark settings the moment your event begins or the first media lands, so nobody can be told photos are free at the door and charged for them later.
Find out which band you are in
Tell us how big your event is and whether you are shooting video. We confirm your band on a call and you leave with the fee.
